TAHO! (WELCOME)
It is with great joy and a sense of humility that we introduce the English version of our website. Hopefully with your support and encouragement, it will be as populated as the original French page. When browsing through the Internet, we discovered how much social and cultural ties there are between us and our immediate neighbors from Liberia, Guinea and Sierra Leone. Looking beyond, we also saw some linkages and similarities with communities in Ghana, the Gambia, Senegal, Nigeria, and Cameroon, the Democratic Republic of Congo, as far as Southern Africa, eastern and central Africa and even in the Americas. For example, we have noted a large and dynamic Khran community amongst the African Diaspora across the world especially in the USA. It is for each of you that we are striving to forge linkages. We want to promote our common cultural heritage, social dialogue, peace and development at community level.
Above all, through this English page, we want to reach out to other communities from the Americas, Asia, Europe, the Middle East and other parts of Africa using English as their medium of communication. We share the strong commitment that cultural diversity is the world greatest wealth and Internet makes our planet more inclusive. We are eager to reach out to as many people as possible. Learn from others and share our stories and what we are doing to promote socio-economic and cultural development at grassroots level.
If you are committed to the same cause, please join us. Meet us on our facebook, twitter or by email: communication@pehe.org
